What the notice says
The Students’ Union of the University of Uyo (UniUyo) has advised students, particularly those intending to reside in the university’s hostels, to make alternative accommodation arrangements pending the completion of ongoing renovation works in the hostel facilities. The advisory was contained in an important notice issued by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Students’ Union. According to the notice, students are warned against rushing to the university’s hostels upon resumption on Monday, November 2, 2026, as renovation works are still ongoing.
