The University of Jos hereby invites suitably qualified candidates who chose the University as their First Choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) and obtained the required scores to register for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise.
Registration Period:
Opens: Monday, 13th July, 2026
Closes: Saturday, 12th September, 2026
- Choose the University of Jos as First Choice.
- Obtain a minimum UTME score of 180 (subject to departmental cut-off marks).
- Upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
- Pay the prescribed screening fee and complete online registration.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess the minimum entry requirements for their chosen programme.
Registration Guide:
1. Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
2. Click Forms Application.
3. Select 2026 UTME/DE Screening.
4. Create an account using your JAMB Registration Number, email address, phone number and password.
5. Activate your account through the email sent to you.
6. Log in to your dashboard.
7. Pay the screening fee.
8. Print both the University Portal Receipt and the Remita Receipt.
9. Print your Screening Summary for reference.
Important Information:
- Only candidates who selected the University of Jos as First Choice will be eligible.
- Candidates should confirm they meet the departmental cut-off mark before registering. Where necessary, change your course via JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates offered admission must accept the admission on JAMB CAPS within four (4) weeks before it reflects on the University portal.
- Failure to comply with these guidelines may delay or affect admission processing.
