The University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has announced that its Post-University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise will not involve any physical examination.
The clarification was contained in an official notification issued by the university and signed by the Registrar, Dr. Esther Akpojuvie, on July 22, 2026.
According to the notice, the decision is intended to inform all prospective applicants and the general public that candidates seeking admission into the institution will not be required to appear physically for the Post-UTME screening exercise.
The university urged applicants to take note of the information and disregard any contrary reports or misleading claims suggesting that a physical screening exercise would be conducted.
The announcement is expected to reassure candidates, especially those residing outside Delta State, as they will not need to travel to the university solely for the screening process.
Prospective applicants are advised to continue monitoring the university's official communication channels for further updates regarding the admission exercise and other screening requirements.
