What the notice says
This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Sokoto State University, Sokoto through the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and Direct Entry (D.E) and chose the Institution as their FIRST CHOICE, with a minimum score of 150 in the UTME that the online screening exercise for the 2026/2027 Academic Session commences on Tuesday, 11th August, 2026. D.E candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their relevant A'level results (Diploma, NCE, IJMB, etc) on the University portal. Furthermore, both UTME and DE candidates must have uploaded their O'level results with a minimum of five credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings) on JAMB's CAPS at or visit any JAMB accredited CBT centre.
