This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the undergraduate programmes of Plateau State University, Bokkos through the JAMB UTME and DE applications in 2026, that the University will be conducting an Online Post UTME and DE Screening for admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, commencing on Wednesday, 15th July, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
The screening exercise is open to:
1. Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their "First Choice" and scored 160 and above in the 2026 JAMB UTME. However, candidates who applied for programmes in the Faculties of Health Sciences, Law, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as Medicine and Surgery should check the differential cut-off points of programmes in those Faculties as indicated below:
Minimum Acceptable JAMB UTME Points:
- Law (Faculty/Programme
- Law) - Cut-off Point: 200
- Medicine & Surgery (Faculty/Programme
- Basic Medical Sciences) - Cut-off Point: 200
- Nursing (Faculty/Programme
- Health Sciences) - Cut-off Point: 200
- Pharmacy (Faculty/Programme
- Pharmacy) - Cut-off Point: 190
- Medical Laboratory Science (Faculty/Programme
- Health Sciences) - Cut-off Point: 190
- All Other Programmes - Cut-off Point
- 160
2. Candidates who chose Plateau State University, Bokkos as their "First Choice" in the 2026 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) application; and have any of the following qualifications: First Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), (with a minimum of Lower Credit), Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) with minimum of a merit grade and IJMB or JUPEP (with a minimum of 6 points).
In addition, candidates who wish to study any of the underlisted new courses may apply for change of course on JAMB portal before undertaking the post UTME screening. The new programmes are as follows:

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR THE POST-UTME & DE SCREENING

Criteria for Registration for the Screening
- Have selected Plateau State University, Bokkos as their First Choice Institution.
- Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME (subject to departmental cut-off marks).
- Upload their O'Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Pay the prescribed screening fee and complete the online application.
- Direct Entry candidates must possess the minimum admission requirements for their chosen programme.
Online Registration Procedure
1. Visit https://postutme.plasu.edu.ng.
2. Click "New Applicant - Apply Here."
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Complete the registration form with your active phone number, valid email address, password, mode of entry and preferred programme.
5. Click Register.
6. A verification link will be sent to your registered email address.
7. Open your email and click the verification link to activate your account.
8. Log in to the portal.
9. Click "Make Payment" to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
10. Complete payment of prescribed fee using any available payment channel.
11. Upload a recent passport photograph and signature (maximum 150KB each; JPG/JPEG/PNG).
12. Enter your O'Level results (maximum of two sittings), beginning with the five relevant subjects required for your programme.
13. Provide valid scratch card details for online result verification.
14. Complete the remaining sections including personal information, parent/guardian details, next of kin and contact address.
15. Upload supporting documents: O'Level Result, Certificate/Letter of Indigene and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age.
16. Review all information carefully.
17. Accept the declaration confirming that all information supplied is true.
18. Submit your application.
19. Print your Application Slip, University Receipt, Remita Receipt and Screening Summary.
Important Information
- Only candidates who selected Plateau State University, Bokkos as First Choice are eligible.
- Confirm that you satisfy the departmental cut-off mark before applying.
- Candidates wishing to change institution or course should do so through the JAMB Portal before completing the PLASU application.
- Candidates offered admission must accept the admission on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks.
- Providing false information or forged documents will result in disqualification.
- The University reserves the right to verify all submitted credentials.

BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS/CYBERCRIME
Candidates and indeed members of the public should beware of fraudsters who may be fronting as agents of the University to dupe innocent and unsuspecting candidates and members of the public under the pretense of offering admission to them.
The University wishes to make it abundantly clear that admission into the University is done directly by the University and JAMB; and NOT through any third party or agent, please.
