What the notice says
Arising from an Emergency Congress Meeting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Plateau State University Branch, as directed by the Zone and the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Union which held on 15th September. 2026 in Jos, Congress reviewed the issues that led to the declaration of the strike on 26th August, 2026 and resolved to suspend the strike action. The suspension followed an agreement reached between the negotiation teams of the State Government and the Union. The Government team was headed by the Head of Service Mr. Steven Pam Gadong. and the Union's team was headed by the Zonal Coordinator Professor Aku Timothy Namo.
