The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) at PAMO University of Medical Sciences (PUMS), Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has officially announced the opening of applications for its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Critical Academic Requirements:
Transcripts: Candidates must forward either hard or soft copies of their official academic transcripts to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, PUMS. Soft copies must be sent exclusively from institutional email addresses to spgs@pums.edu.ng
Master’s Degree Applicants: Must upload a concise research synopsis of their last degree research (strictly limited to one type-written page).
PhD Applicants: Must upload a comprehensive thesis proposal (not exceeding five type-written pages). Additionally, PhD candidates may be invited for an official proposal defence at a later date to be communicated by the school.
According to a directive from the Principal Assistant Registrar and Secretary of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Mr. Samson S. Ogala, all admissions offered remain provisional, and the university reserves the ultimate right to offer, confirm, or deny admission.
