The management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) has disowned a fake memorandum circulating on social media claiming that the resumption dates for the 2026/2027 academic session have been changed. The university clarified that the purported internal memorandum, dated October 24, 2026, is fake and should be disregarded by students, parents, guardians, staff and members of the public. In the notice signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Nkeiruka Charity Mbanasor, the management stated that the approved resumption dates for the 2026/2027 academic session remain unchanged.
