The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, Adamawa State, has announced an extension of the deadline for students to vacate the university hostels to Tuesday. The announcement was contained in an official notice dated October 18, 2026, issued by the SUG and signed by its President, Sen. Yazeed Bello, and Secretary-General, Ahidjo Jibrilla Adamu. According to the notice, the extension followed persistent efforts by the SUG President to address students’ concerns after the university management directed students to vacate the hostels on Friday.
