What the notice says
The attention of the Academic Board has been drawn to a statement currently in circulation announcing 7th August, 2026 as the deadline for the registration for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The Board wishes to state categorically that students should disregard such information, as it is false and does not emanate from the Academic Board. At its meeting held on Monday, 3rd August, 2026, the Academic Board considered and overruled the proposal to impose a registration deadline and a penalty for late registration. The Board, however, directed all students to complete their registration without further delay in preparation for the Second Semester Examinations, which are scheduled to commence on Monday, 17th August, 2026. The Chairman of the Academic Board and Rector, Arc. Dr. 'Koye Jolaoso, has warned individuals responsible for circulating false information to desist forthwith in the interest of the peace, order, and progress of the Polytechnic.
