What the notice says
In a letter dated 7th October, 2026 with reference number MTE/I&M/S.4/VOL.III/165 and signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Mr. Tolani Sule, the Government conveyed the approval of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on the demands presented by the leadership of the unions during their recent engagement with the State Government. According to the letter addressed to ASUU of Lagos State Owned Universities, the Governor, in his magnanimity and commitment to industrial harmony and staff welfare in the State's tertiary institutions, graciously approved the following: 1. The domestication and payment of 40% Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance (CATA) and 10% Excess Academic Allowance (EAA) for Academic Staff.
