What the notice says
Following the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) resolution to suspend the ongoing strike action, the University Management is pleased to announce the resumption of academic activities at Kaduna State University on 21st September, 2026. The decision follows approval by His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State and Visitor to the University, to implement and domesticate the 2025 FGN-ASUU Agreement for the academic staff of Kaduna State University, as well as consequential approvals from the University Governing Council and Management. Management expresses its appreciation to His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State and the visitor of the University, all government stakeholders, the University Governing Council, ASUU-KASU, non-teaching staff, students, parents, and other stakeholders for their patience, understanding and commitment throughout the period of the industrial action.
