The Management of Kaduna State University wishes to inform all prospective candidates who applied to the University in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that the Online Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is hereby scheduled for Monday, 29th June 2026 to Monday, 13th July 2026. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for screening.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the KASU Online Post-UTME Screening Exercise, a candidate must:
i. Have sat for the 2026 UTME and selected KASU as their first choice institution.
ii. Have obtained the minimum JAMB aggregate score for the programme applied for (see cut-off score table below).
Candidates awaiting O-Level results are eligible for the screening.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates should follow these steps to complete their Post-UTME screening application:
Step 1: Select Application Type
Visit the online application portal at https://applicant.safapply.com/kasu and select the appropriate application type (Post UTME or DE) from the program list.
Step 2: Create Account
i. Enter your JAMB registration number to check your eligibility status in the space labelled JAMB Registration Number and click Check Eligibility.
ii. If eligible, click the More Information.
iii. From the pop-up window, click Apply Now.
iv. Click Create New Account if applying for the first time; otherwise, click Log in to Your Account.
Step 3: Payment
Review and confirm the information you have provided, then proceed to payment. Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening application fee of ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) through the payment options available on the application portal.
Step 4: Biodata and Uploads
i. Fill in all required personal information accurately.
ii. Provide details of your O-Level results from not more than two (2) sittings if available.
iii. Direct Entry (DE) applicants must additionally provide details of their A-level results.
iv. Upload all copies of all results provided above if available.
v. Upload the following documents: NIN slip or National Identity Card, birth certificate, indigene certificate, current 2026 JAMB registration slip, and JAMB result slip.
vi. Upload your signature and a passport photograph. The photograph must be clear, recent, in colour, with a white background, in JPEG format, and must not exceed 1.00 MB in file size. An invalid or missing passport photograph will invalidate your application.
vii. Where applicable, indicate alternative preferred programs in order of priority, in case your first choice is unavailable.
Step 5: Application Submission
i. Tick the agreement checkbox to confirm that all information provided is accurate and that any false declaration renders your application invalid.
ii. Preview your application to ensure all details are correct.
iii. Click the submit. Upon successful submission, print your Application Acknowledgement Slip and keep it for your records.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
i. Applicants must upload their O-Level results on the JAMB portal (CAPS) before they can be considered for admission.
ii. Applicants must provide a valid and accessible email address and phone number, as all official communication will be sent through these channels.
Please note that incorrect contact details may negatively affect your admission chances.
iii. Applicants are required to upload clear, scanned copies of all necessary documents. Incorrect or misplaced uploads may invalidate your application.
These documents will be used for online screening and registration after admission is accepted on the JAMB portal.
