The Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), Lafia, officially announces the commencement of online admission form sales for the 2026/2027 Academic Session Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Program.
OVERVIEW OF THE IJMB PROGRAM
The IJMB program runs for one academic calendar year and serves as an academic booster to prepare students for university education.
Key advantages of the program include:
- Direct Entry
- Candidates gain admission directly into the 200 level at university using required IJMB points without needing JAMB.
- Non-Expiring Results
- IJMB results do not expire once the required points are attained.

- The IMAP center is the oldest IJMB center in North Central Nigeria, recognized nationwide for its credibility, reputation, and experienced examiners.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND ADMISSION DETAILS
General Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 'O' Level credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent qualifications obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Mandatory subjects include English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant basic subjects.
Conditional Entry and Remediation:
- Arts candidates awaiting or remedying a credit in Mathematics may be granted conditional admission.
- Science candidates awaiting or remedying a credit in English Language may be granted conditional admission within the same academic year.
