Gombe State University (GSU) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for its 2026/2027 online Post-UTME screening exercise, giving eligible candidates additional time to complete their applications.
According to a public notice issued by the Office of the Registrar on 29 July 2026, the online registration, which was initially scheduled to close on Friday, 31 July 2026, will now remain open until Monday, 31 August 2026.
The university explained that the extension is intended to provide another opportunity for qualified candidates who have not yet completed their online screening registration within the earlier deadline.
Prospective applicants are advised to visit the university's online screening portal at https://www.dhrd-gsu-edu.com/admission/index.php to complete their registration before the new closing date.
The management also clarified that all eligibility requirements, registration procedures, and other conditions stated in the earlier advertisement remain unchanged. Candidates are reminded that only those who will be 16 years old on or before 30 September 2026 will be considered for admission into Gombe State University.
