Gboko Polytechnic, Benue State, has officially opened applications for candidates seeking admission into its Full-Time and Part-Time programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The institution, which is fully approved and licensed by the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), assures prospective students of prompt NYSC mobilization upon completion of their studies.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Interested candidates must meet the following basic entry criteria:
1. A minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language and Mathematics (except where otherwise stated).
2. For HND programmes, candidates must possess a National Diploma from a recognized institution in addition to the O' Level requirements.
3. Any deficiency in entry qualifications can be remedied while studying at the institution.
4. A minimum JAMB score of 100. Candidates who scored 100 or above in their UTME and wish to study at Gboko Polytechnic are advised to visit any CBT center to change their institution of first choice to Gboko Polytechnic if they did not initially select it, or visit the campus directly for further information.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR GBOKO POLYTECHNIC 2026/2027 ADMISSIONS
Candidates interested in applying for Full-Time or Part-Time ND and HND programmes at Gboko Polytechnic can follow the application steps below:
ONLINE APPLICATION METHOD
1. Visit the Official Portal
Access the online application portal via https://portal.gbokopoly.edu.ng/start-application.php
2. Fill Pre-Application Form
Complete the pre-application form online by entering your surname, other names, phone number, program choice, and setting up a secure password.
3. Generate Invoice & Make Payment
Upon submitting the pre-application form, an invoice will be generated. Proceed to pay the application fee online using a debit/credit card or present the invoice at an designated bank.
4. Complete Full Application
After payment confirmation, return to the online portal, log in, complete the full application form, upload relevant credentials, and submit.
5. Print Application Confirmation
Print out the completed application form and payment receipt for presentation during physical screening.
UTME / JAMB REQUIREMENTS & CHANGE OF INSTITUTION
1. Minimum Score: Candidates must possess a UTME score of at least 100.
2. Change of First Choice: Candidates who scored 100 or above in UTME but did not initially choose Gboko Polytechnic should visit any accredited JAMB CBT center to complete a Change of Institution process, selecting Gboko Polytechnic as their 1st choice.
PHYSICAL SCREENING / IN-PERSON APPLICATION
Candidates can also apply or proceed with physical screening directly on campus:
