The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Federal University Wukari, Taraba State, has announced that the disbursement of institutional fees under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has commenced for students who successfully applied for the scheme. The announcement was made in an official notice dated July 30, 2026. According to the SUG, beneficiaries whose institutional fees have been paid are advised to remain patient while the payments reflect on the university's school portal. Students will be able to proceed with their course registration once the payments are updated on the portal. The union also addressed students who paid their school fees before the NELFUND disbursement. It stated that the university's NELFUND Desk Officer is already working on a seamless refund process for such students, adding that further details on how refunds will be processed will be communicated once final arrangements are completed.
