The Federal Ministry of Education has intensified efforts to harmonise the 2027 external examination timetable, targeting the release of results by August 2027 to enable eligible candidates to commence admission processes into tertiary institutions by September. The initiative aligns with the education reform agenda of the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, under the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), which aims to promote efficiency, coordination and improved educational outcomes. To achieve this objective, the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Sa'id Ahmad, convened a meeting with heads and representatives of examination bodies at the Federal Ministry of Education headquarters in Abuja.
