What the notice says
The Office of the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, has issued an internal memo with reference number FPO/RG/273/VOL.II/125, dated 12th October, 2026, to the Polytechnic Community regarding compliance with the 75% lecture attendance policy and notice of quiz. The Registrar stated that the entire Polytechnic community is being reminded of the institution's policy on a minimum of 75% attendance at lectures, which applies to both lecturers and students. According to the memo, students are required to attend not less than 75% of all scheduled lectures in each course, and students who fail to meet this requirement will be barred from sitting for examinations in the affected courses. Lecturers are equally required to be present for their scheduled lectures and to deliver them as timetabled.
