The Senate of Bayero University. Kano (BUK) has approved the conduct of special resit examinations for eligible students, particularly final-year and spill-over students who meet the stipulated requirements. The decision was one of the major resolutions reached at the 438th meting of he University Senate held on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, following consideration of the report of the Committee on Special Resit Examinations. The committee had examined the prospects, necessity, implementation strategies and modalities for introducing special resit examinations in the University.
