The lecture, titled “Invisible Giants: The Microbial Forces Securing Food, Protecting Health and Sustaining Life on Earth,” will be delivered by Professor Afolake Atinuke Olanbiwoninu, Professor of Food Microbiology at the university. The inaugural lecture will examine the role of microorganisms in food security, human health and the sustenance of life, highlighting the significance of microbial activities in various aspects of human existence. The event will be held at the Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Faculty of Law Lecture Auditorium, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, and will commence at 11:00 a.m.
