Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has issued an update on the registration for the 2026 UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise, urging candidates to log in to the Post-UTME portal and check their screening status. According to the university’s Special Bulletin dated Wednesday, August 19, 2026, candidates who have been successfully screened will see a confirmation that their results have been screened. However, candidates whose results were not screened may have encountered issues with their uploaded information. ABU listed several reasons why a candidate’s result may not have been screened. These include failure to upload a scanned copy of the O’Level result after entering the grades, discrepancies between the entered grades and the uploaded result, uploading unnecessary documents such as examination cards or JAMB registration slips, and incorrect JAMB or O’Level subject combinations.
